  • Fundamental Biology. Molecular and Cell Biology.
  • Biotechnology.
  • Agrarian Resources and Technologies.

High level of participation in basic research projects

Research groups of CBGP have achieved a high success rate with their proposals to the calls of the Spanish National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Innovation. Currently, fourteen projects awarded in the 2009 and 2010 calls are being carried out in the Centre, in addition to the nine new projects starting in 2012.

Several basic research projects granted by different competitive funding sources are also in progress. Specially noteworthy are two Starting Grants of the European IDEAS programme awarded by the European Research Council in the 2008 and 2010 calls for proposals.
