In this conference Dr. Luis Rubio explained how his laboratory aims to increase cereal crop productivity by making plants acquire nitrogen from the atmosphere rather than from synthetic nitrogen fertilizers. Their purpose is to help small farmers increase crop profits and overcome poverty, in full alignment with strategies of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
