Identification of a new allergen in pediatric allergy

The recently identified allergen, Pru p 9, is responsible for the induction of peach pollen allergy in part of the pediatric population. The knowledge of new allergens allows us to develop more accurate diagnosis and effective treatments that could improve patient's quality of life.
