High genetic diversity of endosymbiotic bacteria from blue lupin (Lupinus angustifolius)

For the first time, strains belonging to the genus Devosia and efficient in lupin plants have been described. The study based on partial sequences of several genes distributed the strains into six groups: four belonged to the genus Bradyrhizobium (22 isolates), one to Microvirga (8 strains) and one to Devosia (2 strains). These isolates are potential inoculants for agricultural practices or landscape restoration.
