Molecular tools to develop more drought-resistant legumes

Researchers from two INIA centers, the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP-INIA-UPM) and the National Center for Plant Genetic Resources (INIA-CRF) , have just published results of their work in the journal BMC Plant Biology. The article focuses on the design of new molecular tools to be used in improvement strategies against drought in the legume Vicia sativa L.

CBGP scientists develop biostimulant that allows the plant to grow more in phosphorus deficit conditions

On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP UPM-INIA) celebrated the CBGP S3-Forum I&D for a more sustainable agriculture and quality food, meeting in which Sandra Díaz González, Industrial Doctorate student of CBGP and Plant Response Biotech analyzed the agri-food challenges that agronomists must respond to and the progress of their current research.
