NEW SYMBIOSIS METHOD BETWEEN PLANTS AND MICROORGANISMS
Soledad Sacristán´s research group, from CBGP, together with Max Planck Institute from Alemania, has demonstrated the symbiosis between the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana and the endophytic fungus Colletotrichum tofieldiae, which could contribute to decrease the use of inorganic fertilizers and to achieve a more sustainable agriculture.
